Netflix’s New Docuseries ‘The Tiger King’ Is The Weirdest Distraction We Can Have Right Now

This new Netflix documentary HAS to be the WILDEST thing I have ever heard of.

Have you heard of Joe Exotic? He is known as the Tiger King.

This bleach blonde, mullet wearing dude raised wild animals on his property in Oklahoma. His specialty? Big cats — think lion and tigers.

He is a self-made magician, a polygamist, a cult member (?), and a wanna be country singer.

He has also been sentenced to 22 years in prison for murder for hire, and is currently being held in in the Grady County jail in Oklahoma.

This guy is — I’m trying not to call him crazy — but dude is straight up nuts.

That might be a bit harsh, but it all started for Joe when he purchased an exotic pet store in Texas. His life wasn’t easy, nor was it average.

His obsession love for exotic animals blossomed until he was showing his animals — think, like, circus sideshow — and taking his exotic animals to shopping malls — like an exotic animal petting zoo.

Then, enter Carole Baskin on the scene. This story is so convoluted and bizarre. She raised exotic cats, too, but she was trying to get people like Joe Exotica shutdown.

Their mutual hatred for each other grew, until Joe finally decided he wanted to pay someone to murder her.

Dude, you’re just going to have to watch it.
