I am about to pivot over to my nearest Starbucks because they are now offering Friends themed drinks and I am feeling a Rachel right about now…
Yes, select Starbucks locations have been offering Friends themed drinks including – The Ross, The Rachel, The Chandler, The Joy, The Monica, and The Phoebe.
We talked to Jocelyn Smart, the barista-manager and creator of this awesome sign and these awesome drinks (you can follow her on instagram here and here) and she said, “The one featured with the sign is actually inspired by the purple of Monica’s apartment and the orange ring is to represent the couch! It’s a raspberry cream Frappuccino with a scoop of dragonfruit pieces. Blended and a ring of pumpkin sauce to create the contrast of colors!”
Dude, that’s AWESOME.
She also made a “Smelly Cat” Starbucks drink, and it looks quite interesting! I found the recipe online according to a comment and it is:
A Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with coconut milk, add a splash of guava juice and add dragon fruit.
If your local Starbucks isn’t advertising these, most of them can easily be made.
Here’s How to Order The FRIENDS Drinks at Starbucks
Ask for a Salted Caramel Mocha.
Ask for a Flat White.
Ask for a Skinny Caramel Macchiato with an added shot.
Ask for a Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Ask for a Nitro Cold Brew.
Ask for a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino with White Mocha.
While those are a little more basic and straight to the point, there is alternate versions of these drinks too:
The Phoebe drink above seems to be a bit more like Phoebe than the first – “Coconut Green Tea Latte”.
The descriptions just get me, I am laughing in excitement right now.
K, head over and give these a try. Heck, gather your Friends and make it a coffee date!
