Apparently, my annual return to Stars Hollow can now include the dog.
Sassy Woof has a Gilmore Girls dog harness, and the pink print is exactly the kind of thing that makes me stop scrolling. Coffee cups. Pizza. Flowers. Little Dragonfly Inn references. An entire television obsession, condensed into something you can put on a dog.
The dog does not need to have an opinion about Rory’s boyfriends to participate. Probably for the best.
A little Stars Hollow for your daily walk
The adjustable harness costs $34.99 on Sassy Woof’s site. It comes in seven sizes, XXS through XXL, and all seven were listed as available when I checked.
Sassy Woof describes it as printed neoprene with a breathable mesh lining. Both the neck and chest are adjustable, and it has leash attachment rings on the front and back.
I haven’t tried this harness, so I can’t tell you how it fits your dog. Measure their neck and chest and compare those numbers with the product’s size chart before ordering. “Small dog” is not a measurement, even when the dog is very committed to being baby.
Yes, there are matching accessories
The Gilmore Girls collection also lists a matching collar for $18.99, a waste bag holder for $13.99, and a pet blanket for $32.99.
The blanket is the obvious couch companion for a rewatch. The waste bag holder is considerably less romantic, but I appreciate a collection that remembers what actually happens on a dog walk.
I’d start with the harness if your dog needs one anyway. Matching everything is adorable, but you can absolutely let one pink accessory do the work.
