My Halara Fuzzy Overalls Have Turned Me Into My Own Security Blanket

I don’t understand why more clothes don’t come in teddy bear.

Because I have these fuzzy Halara overalls, and they are literally the greatest thing ever for winter. I’ve had mine for years, and my current thought is: what if I just bought twenty more pairs and wore them all winter?

That could be the whole plan. Winter comes. I put on my overalls. Everybody knows what to expect.

Every time I wear them, someone asks me if I feel like a teddy bear.

And I gotta be honest. I do.

I understand why they’re asking. I also think we should all be asking why “teddy bear” isn’t a more widely available clothing option. Why do I have to discover this one pair of overalls and then wonder how much of my wardrobe I can reasonably replace with them?

I would like more things to come in teddy bear. That is my fashion feedback.

It’s like I’m my own security blanket.

Get sad? Hug yourself.

The blanket is already on you. You don’t even have to go find it. There’s something deeply appealing about that arrangement, especially in the winter, when the argument for being fuzzy is already pretty strong.

So, twenty more pairs. An excellent idea.

Except.

What if I already have the perfect color?

What if I buy another pair, and they’re wonderful, and I still wish I were wearing these? Then I’d have two pairs of overalls and a favorite. And if I bought twenty more, I could have twenty-one pairs and the exact same favorite.

That seems like a lot of overalls to arrive at the conclusion that I liked the first ones.

But what if another color is just as good?

See? This is where I get stuck. I love these so much that I want more of them. I also love these so much that I’m suspicious of more of them.

How crazy is that?

I have already found the fuzzy overalls I love. I can put them on, feel like a teddy bear, and be my own security blanket. This should be a very simple success story.

Somehow, I have given it a complicated second act involving colors.

I mean, I could buy them or whatever.

But then what would I do with all this anxiety?
