Lucy went looking for an apple and found Snoopy. Hallmark has turned that unfortunate Halloween-party moment into a musical figurine, complete with the beagle popping out of the tub in his flying-ace gear.

The Peanuts Great Pumpkin 60th Anniversary Apple Bobbing Figurine is $74.99 at Hallmark, which listed it in stock for shipping when we checked. It celebrates It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown with a little tabletop party scene.

And yes, Lucy looks like she has some concerns.

She’s leaning toward Snoopy in a red witch hat, while Charlie Brown and Schroeder are posed mid-dance behind them. There’s a jack-o’-lantern beside the apple tub, and the whole group sits on a bright pink base trimmed with orange swags. This is the cheerful side of Halloween decorating.

The detail on the back is worth a look

Hallmark’s rear-view photo reveals a jack-o’-lantern face on the back of Charlie Brown’s head. It’s an easy detail to miss if you only look at the front, and a good reason to give this one a spot where you can see more than one side.

The figurine measures 6.5 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches deep. Check that shelf depth before you order; the display takes up as much room front to back as it does side to side.

It comes with the batteries

Press the button and it plays music. Hallmark describes the sound as a spooky jazz take on a classical song, but doesn’t name the tune on the listing.

It runs on three replaceable AAA alkaline batteries, and those are included. Hallmark says to take them out before packing it away. The figurine is resin and intended for decoration, not play.

The selling point is that wonderfully specific little scene: Lucy trying to enjoy a Halloween party, and Snoopy making it weird.
