Snoopy has claimed the best seat in the house: the top of a tiny television that actually plays A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Hallmark’s 2026 video, light and sound ornament is listed at $48.99, with availability beginning October 10, 2026. The screen plays a clip from the special when you press the button, accompanied by music from “Christmas Time Is Here” by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.
A little holiday movie on a Christmas-tree branch? That is an excellent use of tiny television technology.
The cord is the detail to check before buying
This ornament needs Hallmark’s Keepsake Power Cord, which is sold separately for $18.99. If you need both, that brings the listed-price total to $67.98 before tax and any shipping.
It does not run on batteries, so a pack of AAs tucked into the gift bag will not solve that part. If this is a gift, the cord deserves a place in the budget.
Hallmark says the cord can power up to seven compatible Keepsake ornaments from 2017 onward and comes with a wall-outlet adapter. Check the exact name if you already own one: the brand distinguishes its Keepsake Power Cord from its Keepsake Magic Cord and tells shoppers to follow the ornament box’s requirement.
A small TV with a specific job
The plastic ornament measures 3.5 by 4.5 by 2.25 inches and comes in a gift box. It plays a clip, so do not plan an entire movie night around the tree.
Hallmark currently labels it “Coming soon” and offers an availability-notification option on the product page. It is not available to order yet.
For more decorating ideas across brands, our new Christmas finds guide has the broader lineup. For this little Snoopy TV, the useful shopping list is shorter: the ornament, the right cord, and a branch with a decent view.
