Here’s Everything We Know About Frozen 2
November is going to be a GREAT month. Between the launch of Disney+ and the release of Frozen 2, you will want to free up your calendar for the month.
With the D23 expo happening this weekend, we got a ton more information on what to expect with Disney and Here’s Everything We Know About Frozen 2!
When is Frozen 2 Releasing?
Frozen 2 is set to release November 22, 2019 in theaters and we know that all of the main characters: Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are back!
Will there be new characters in Frozen 2?
Yes! We have also learned of some new characters (because what fun is it to not have some new characters around?) So, joining the cast will be Evan Rachel Wood as Anna and Elsa’s mother Queen Iduna and Sterling K. Brown as Lieutenant Matthias.
What will the Frozen 2 Story Be About?
Frozen 2 will focus mainly on Elsa who will be able to control her powers and a new adventure will emerge as she tries to figure out why she has them in the first place.
“[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she’s just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again. That’s what was really good about the short — we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality… you will see in the next one.”

Will Elsa Have a Girlfriend In Frozen 2?
In case you haven’t heard, when Frozen 2 was initially announced, many of the LGBTQ community expressed how the famous ‘Let it Go’ song was a coming out tune as it talks about not suppressing who you are on the inside.
Since that time, fans have asked Disney to make Elsa’s love interest a woman and while we still don’t know if that will happen, we do know that many are on board with this idea.
As of right now that is all we know about Frozen 2. For now, mark your calendars for November 22nd as the day this cold, colorful movie will be hitting your eyes and ears!
