JELL-O has found a new place to put pudding flavors: your makeup bag.
The brand is teaming up with Tower 28 on two limited-edition lip sets, and the practical question is whether you want two full-size glosses or four tiny treatments. Because apparently snack decisions now require a beauty budget.
Two glosses or the little pudding flight?
Kraft Heinz’s September 9 announcement lists the Lip Jelly Duo at $24. It pairs full-size Strawberry and Lemon Lime ShineOn Lip Jelly glosses. Strawberry has a sheer pink, pH-activated stain; Lemon Lime goes on clear despite that bright green tube.
The $20 Lil’ Pudding Snack Set contains four mini LipSoftie treatments: Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Vanilla Swirls, Banana Cream and Pistachio.
The important difference is size and format, not just the number of tubes. Four minis are a sampler. Two full-size glosses are a different purchase.
They arrive at Sephora next week
The announced launch is September 13 online at Sephora and September 15 in U.S. Sephora stores. That is a release date, not confirmation that your nearby store has stock.
These are cosmetics inspired by dessert. We have not tested the formulas or their flavor, and there is no reason to turn a launch announcement into a wear test.
