Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Have Officially Split Up
The baseball star and popstar have officially called it quits after four years together and getting engaged just two years ago.
In a recent joint statement, J Lo and A-Rod have explained to the public why they are calling off the wedding.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
The couple that are now just friends were supposed to get married before COVID hit and since the pandemic, have left the engagement on hold.
Back in March, there were rumors the couple had split but the rumor was quickly squashed after both J Lo and Alex assured everyone they were just fine.
There were a few other red flags that showed the couple was having trouble but in the end, we’re happy to hear that both Alex and J Lo would still like to remain friends.
