There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that’s defined so much of my life for the past 15 years. For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50 and am blessed with my remarkable, supportive wife and five wonderful children, now is that time.

I have followed EVERY ONE of those 15 years of Grey’s Anatomy shows — all 16 seasons — and I am not ready to say goodbye.
We have followed Alex Karev since he was an intern at Seattle Grace Hospital.
We have been through SO much with him — the loss of Izzy, the move to pediatrics, his friendship with Meredith, his relationship with Jo, and so much more!
Could this be why he left in Episode 14 of this season? He went to go help his sick mother, but will he not return? What about Jo? I have so many questions!
I’m dying right now. I need answers.
I bet I’ll get some answers when Grey’s picks back up after the break. They may not be the answers I want, but I bet I get them. *Sad Face*
