Kit Kat’s New Blueberry Muffin Flavor Gives Us an Excuse to Eat Candy for Breakfast
Kit Kat is giving us an excuse to finally have candy breakfast considering their newest chocolate bar favors a common breakfast snack.
Introducing a bakery inspired sweet treat that might make your fingers and your tongue turn blue; enter, the Blueberry Muffin Kit Kat!
The new rectangular wafer pieces should taste similar to grandma’s homemade blueberry muffins except maybe even better, sorry grandma!
Combining fresh, cooked blueberries, a cake batter-like muffin flavor, and graham cookie pieces stuffed into the bar, it’s no wonder why were putting down grandma’s baked blueberry muffins in exchange for this one of a kind ‘breakfast’ candy.
Colored purple on the outside inspired from the blueberry fruit, these crispy wafers are unlike its competition considering its milk chocolate shell has been replaced with a blueberry muffin-flavored creme instead.
“Our product creators have such passion for deciding which flavor KIT KAT should take on next and making sure it delivers for our fans,” Dan Williard, brand manager of Kit Kat, noted in a press release. “Kit Kat Blueberry Muffin has already become one of our favorites; it has all the taste of a freshly baked blueberry muffin, but no baking required!”
Wrapped in a calm blue packaging, the new Blueberry Muffin Kit Kats are available in the standard sized bar, king size, and snack size bite at retailers nationwide beginning this month in April of this year!
The limited edition bars are unfortunately not a permanent addition to the snack aisle so look for the blue, rather than the red packaging in stores while you can!
