Someone at LEGO took one look at Downton Abbey’s endless doors, upstairs-downstairs drama, and heroic number of tiny teacups and said: yes, this should be 4,711 pieces.
The result is the new LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey set (21373), an enormous display model based on Highclere Castle. LEGO revealed the set on September 10, and it is stuffed with the sort of details that make a grown adult cancel weekend plans and start sorting tan bricks by shape.
There Is A Whole Upstairs-Downstairs World Inside
This is not just a pretty facade. The top level lifts away so builders can move between the grand dining room, main hall, and library upstairs and the kitchen, servants’ hall, and Mr. Carson’s office downstairs.
The designers leaned into the period setting, too. The rooms mix candlelight with early electric fixtures, and tiny touches include a period mixer, a 1910s–1920s candlestick telephone, formal place settings, portraits, and a servants’ dining table arranged by rank. Even the cedar tree outside made the cut.
There are playful details for people who like hunting for references while they build. LEGO says the model includes a servants’ bell board with a “LEGO room” label, newspapers bearing fan designer Sebastian Veselka’s initials, and a heart-shaped tree base.

The set comes with a genuinely impressive household. The 13 minifigures are:

Several figures have double-sided faces, and LEGO created extra clothing elements so the characters can actually sit properly around the dining table. It is a small thing, but it matters when your plastic aristocrats have standards.
How Big Is The LEGO Downton Abbey Set?
Finished, the model measures more than 12 inches tall, 17.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep. At 4,711 pieces, this is a serious build for adults, not a casual little set to finish while half-watching an episode.
It is also clearly designed to be displayed. The narrow depth makes it more shelf-friendly than the piece count suggests, while the detailed front and removable level give it plenty to explore up close.

LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey costs $349.99 in the United States. LEGO Insiders can buy it during early access beginning October 1, 2026, and general availability begins October 4, 2026 through LEGO stores and LEGO.com.
