Loews Portofino Bay At Universal Studios Orlando, Florida
I have found the perfect place to stay when you visit Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Loews Portofino Bay (they invited my family to come out and spend a couple of nights to check it out.)
So, this hotel has major swag. It’s clean, amazing looking, and just the right amount of people are there visiting at any given time.
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT LOEWS PORTOFINO BAY IN ORLANDO
The Food. This place had amazing food. We couldn’t get enough of it! They had sit down restaurants, and a little sandwich and pizza bistro that was open until late at night, (Mama Della’s) and they had the best Meatball sandwich I’ve ever eaten.
The Water Taxis. So, the view from our room overlooked the Portofino Bay and was home to the water Taxis that drove you straight up to the Universal Studios theme parks. We used them several times during the day– so much better than parking!
The Pools! Loews Portofino Bay has THREE pools. They were insane. You can have food and drinks delivered right to where you are sitting, and it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

The rooms. Oh my, I can’t stress enough how nice the rooms at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel are. The beds were so comfortable. Which is exactly what you need when you spend a whole day at Universal Stuidos!
In short, would we stay there again? YES. Absolutely yes. We had an amazing stay and the staff went out of their way to make sure our trip was extra special. They dropped off special treats in our room, and made us feel like we were VIPs!
