Macy’s is turning the 100th Thanksgiving Day Parade into an entire shopping collection, and Disney fans are getting some of the cutest pieces in the bunch.
The expanded centennial assortment includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man, with fashion, accessories, collectibles and home décor built around decades of Disney balloon history.
The Loungefly bags look like Parade balloons
One of the main collections is called Balloons Through the Years, and it leans hard into the giant character balloons people actually remember.
Current assortment details include Loungefly balloon mini backpacks, Mickey & Friends balloon denim, ear headbands and pin sets, plus Hallmark blown-glass Mickey Parade ornaments, Crocs accessories, sleepwear and more.
Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey is getting a huge moment
This is not just merch built around an anniversary logo. Macy’s has already revealed a new Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey balloon for the 100th Parade, and the character has his own limited-edition product capsule tied to the centennial celebration.
The wider Disney assortment also reaches beyond Mickey. Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear and Marvel’s Spider-Man are part of the balloon-history theme, which makes the whole thing feel more like a wearable archive of Parade characters than one single Disney drop.
There’s also a whole Mickey-and-friends New York story
A second collection, March to Macy’s, follows Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto through New York City on their way to the Parade.
The artwork is inspired by vintage 1930s comic strips, and the collection includes puffer jackets, hoodies, canvas totes, a snow globe, journals, dolls and more.
The 100th Parade collection goes way beyond Disney
Macy’s says its centennial collaborations span brands including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Hallmark, Crocs, Swarovski, Peanuts, Sanrio, Citizen, Levi’s and more. So the Parade shop is basically becoming its own holiday-shopping universe.
The expanded Disney collection launches online October 7 and begins arriving in Macy’s stores nationwide October 15, including the Parade Shop at Herald Square in New York City.
