You guys! I am so excited. I’ve been waiting for this day for what feels like, forever… Mario Lopez Just Shared The First Look At The ‘Saved By The Bell’ Reboot!! Ahhhh.

NBC

In case you didn’t hear, Saved By The Bell is getting a reboot with the original cast and will be available on NBC’s streaming service Peacock.

Mario Lopez will be back as his original character and so will, Mark-Paul Gosselaar as his original character Zack Morris.

Plus Tiffani Thiessen, who played Zack’s girlfriend and later wife Kelly Kapowski, is also in talks to reprise her role on the reboot.

So, what will this reboot be about? Well, of course the actors are older so it only makes sense to make them older in the show too.

The show’s official synopsis is:

“When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest-performing schools in the state—including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality.”

While we don’t know much more or even when the Saved By The Bell Reboot will be streaming, we do know that NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, is set to launch in April and more is to come in summer 2020.
