Monster High put a tiny spooky school inside a book-shaped playset, and the little coffin lockers are doing a lot of the convincing.
The Monster High Little Frights Fearbook playset comes with a 3-inch Ghoulia Yelps mini doll. Open it up and the purple case becomes a whole collection of miniature scenes, with a pink-curtained stage in the center.
A tiny school with room for the little details
The official product photos show a science-lab corner, an art easel, a camera on a tripod, a keyboard, and a microphone beside those coffin-shaped lockers. There is even a miniature building sitting on a table. This is very much a toy for the person who immediately zooms in to see what is on the tiny shelves.
The packaging describes 10 play areas. That makes the appeal pretty clear for collectors, too: the little compartments give mini figures their own scenes instead of leaving them in a row.
Check which dolls are included
Ghoulia is the included doll. Other characters appear in some of the promotional room photos, but those dolls are sold separately. If you are buying it as a gift, look for the Little Frights playset with Ghoulia, rather than assuming every character in the pictures comes in the box.
Target lists the set for ages 4 and up and flags small parts as a choking hazard for children under 3. The miniature furniture is part of the charm, but it is worth keeping that age guidance in mind.
