This Movie Was Snubbed For An Oscar, But It's Currently #1 on Netflix

Every year the Oscar nominations are announced, and inevitably, there is a movie left out that we are SURE should have made the cut.

But, this year, there is one film that everyone agrees is one of the best movies of the year, but it was snubbed by the powers that be at the Academy Awards.

It is a historical piece that tells the story of a West African warrior woman in the early 19th century, and y’all, it’s seriously so good.

It is a sweeping epic piece, the kind they just don’t give us anymore — but the kind we all want, right?!?

The Woman King is the movie in question, and if you haven’t seen it, you simply have to!

So, you would think a movie that is so amazing would be a contender for Best Picture at the biggest movie awards show of the year.

But, sadly, nope.

I can’t say why the academy chooses the films they choose for Best Picture, but in THIS case they are wrong in so many ways.

I’m not the ONLY one who thinks The Woman King should be up for — and win — Best Picture of the year.

One only needs to hop on over to Rotten Tomatoes, where the film has gotten a whopping 94% positive rate, to see how awesome it really is.

Just read through the reviews, and you’ll see that this is one film that everyone can agree is top notch.

For any hater out there hoping to gaslight and say maybe we just weren’t good enough, you can’t argue the facts of our A+ Cinemascore — which only two other films achieved last year — or the 94 percent fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, or the number of top 10 lists including AFI and National Board of Review.
