Halloween apparently needed its own little doors to open. Target has a NeeDoh Monster Mush countdown for $24.99, with 14 surprises tucked into a neon haunted-house box.
And the tiny pink jack-o’-lantern bucket? Extremely good Halloween desk energy.
The product photos show green and purple ghosts, a turquoise skull design and a grinning candy-corn toy. It’s a colorful, goofy version of spooky, with a box that looks like a haunted house threw a black-light party.
A Halloween countdown you can still start this month
Here’s the useful part: 14 openings don’t require a commitment that started October 1. If you want to open one each day and finish on Halloween, start October 18. Prefer the last surprise on Halloween Eve? Start October 17.
That makes this a fun option for a little after-school October ritual. Pick a daily opening time, keep the unopened doors intact and let the box do the planning. No need to assemble 14 separate treats yourself.
What to check before buying
Target lists 14 pieces, but don’t read that as a promise of 14 identical squishy balls. A verified purchaser’s Target review mentions a mix that includes finger puppets. The retailer’s photos give you a peek at several pieces without revealing every door.
The listed age recommendation is 3 and up, and the package carries a choking-hazard warning for small parts. This one belongs away from babies and toddlers.
Target’s listing was $24.99 when checked October 9. Availability can differ by location, so check pickup or delivery before making a trip. To help find the exact box, its Target item number is 086-03-0401.
