Leave it to Netflix to haunt your dreams.

This time, it’s not a haunted house or serial killer that is leaving us awake at night.

Instead, Netflix’s New True Crime Series is Every Parents Nightmare because it touches on an unsolved abduction of a 3-year-old girl.

Netflix’s New True Crime Series Is Every Parents Nightmare

The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann is Netflix’s newest true crime series that explores one of the most high-profile missing person cases in recent history.

Arriving March 15th, this 8 documentary-style episode series feature 40 contributors including investigators, interviews, testimonies, and never-before-seen footage.

In April 2007, Madeleine was just 3 years old when she was taken from a family villa in the Portuguese holiday resort Praia de Luz.

She was sleeping in the same room as her younger twin siblings while her parents were having dinner with their friends in a nearby restaurant when she vanished.

Her disappearance garnered widespread coverage from international media and still remains one of the world’s most high-profile missing person investigations.

As a mom, this sort of series pulls at my heart strings. One of my biggest fears is having my child taken from me.

What’s even worse is that these poor parents have no sort of answer as to what happened to their daughter even after 12 years.

I can’t even imagine!

I fully intend to watch this series tomorrow when it’s released. I just have to know what they know happened to this poor little girl.
