The New Rockefeller Tree Has Been Picked and This Time, It’s Not From New York
New York has just picked their new Christmas Tree for everyone to gather under in the middle of the Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan.
For the first time ever in the history of choosing a tree as center stage for the holidays, this year’s tree comes from the beautiful state of Maryland.
The shiny new Norway Spruce stands just shy of 80 feet tall and will be cut down on November 11.
Preparing for a long drive from Elkton, Maryland, the new holiday tree will arrive in Manhattan just two days after being cut down on November 13.
The tree’s first debut illuminated, will take place on the first day of December dressed in red bows, wrapped in lights, and extending holiday greetings to visitors.
