I am obsessed with the idea of glow-in-the-dark Halloween nails. A manicure that gets a second personality when the lights go out? That is exactly the level of extra I want for spooky season.
Olive & June’s Halloween collection includes a $10 glow-in-the-dark polish called Night Light, plus glow press-on designs. You can add the effect to a manicure you already like or pick a ready-made Halloween set.
Night Light adds glow to your existing manicure
Night Light is a shimmery special-effect polish. Olive & June says to apply it over your favorite polish, press-ons or a fully cured gel manicure.
The step to remember is charging it: hold your manicure near a light source before turning the lights off to see the glow. This is regular polish, so the brand says it does not need a curing lamp.
At $10 on the official site when checked, the individual bottle is the option I would look at first if I already had a manicure setup. You do not need to start with a whole system just to investigate the glow effect.
There are glow press-ons if you want the design done for you
The Halloween collection’s glow section lists four $10 press-on styles:
- Halloween Sparkle French: medium almond.
- Spiderweb Chrome French: medium almond.
- Puffy Bat Swirls: medium oval.
- Witching Hour French: medium almond.
Check the individual set before ordering, especially if you have a preferred nail length or shape. The broader Halloween collection includes plenty of other designs, and not every Halloween set is labeled glow-in-the-dark.
Which option would I choose?
For keeping a favorite color and adding a spooky effect, I would start with Night Light. For a full Halloween design without painting tiny details myself, I would look at the press-ons. The collection also has a Glow in the Dark System, listed at $65, if you want to compare a bundle.
I haven’t worn this collection yet, so I can’t rate the brightness, wear time or fit from experience. My excitement is about the designs and the glow effect; those hands-on details need an actual test.
