I don’t know if I’ll ever actually need to use this genius trick but I am honestly glad I now know about it.

Today I learned that People Are Putting Pieces of Sod Into Kiddie Pools and It’s Pure Genius!

As you may know, the gulf coast is bracing for a Hurricane and with that comes preparing to stay inside your house that also includes your pets.

If you have a dog, you know that going potty outside is a must but during a Hurricane (or during any other disaster) that is simply not possible.

So, some genius people came up with a solution – putting pieces of sod inside a kiddie pool to give their pets a place to go to the bathroom.

I literally never would have thought of that and I am so glad I know about it now.

So, you simply Buy sod and put some in a kiddy pool and keep it in the garage (or safe place inside) so the dogs can potty during bad weather.

Where do you get the sod?

Well, if you are able to prepare ahead of a disaster, you could buy some at your local Home Depot or Lower’s. If not, you can just take a knife outside to your current lawn and throw it into a kiddie pool.

Genius, right?

It beats having your dog feel like there is nowhere to go potty or worse, going potty right in the middle of the house.
