Pink Just Proposed A ‘Worldwide Internet Challenge’ and It Is Pure Gold
It’s no surprise that celebrities get the worst of the worst when it comes to online trolls and hateful words. Pink in particular, has had her fair share and now she just proposed a ‘Worldwide Internet Challenge’ and it is pure gold!
Back in April, Pink was a guest on The Ellen Show and during that time she said she would no longer share pictures of her kids online due to the internet bullies and hateful comments.
Honestly, I can’t blame her and I would most likely do the same (after balling like a total baby).
And while Pink isn’t scared to call out the internet trolls, she has decided to put out a new challenge…
Pink posted on Instagram a few days ago saying:
“I’d like to propose a worldwide internet challenge to anyone reading this today. Go ONE day without criticizing someone online. Let’s call it the MISS ME WITH THE BULLSHIT CHALLENGE. And if it feels good, hey, why not go TWO DAYS. But let’s start with one for the overzealous out there. #onedayatatime #onlylove“
THAT IS PURE GOLD RIGHT THERE!
Seriously, I stand by this. As someone who has been online for years, I know what it is like to hear mean and hateful comments.
While I realize you can’t please everyone and the hateful comments come with the “job”, it doesn’t make it right for people to say those things in the first place.
I always say it’s sad people hiding behind a keyboard that are the ones to bully others online.
Nonetheless, this internet challenge from Pink is amazing and is something worth doing and spreading. Kuddos to her for being such an inspiration for making the world a better place.
