Listen… I LOVE pizza, and I LOVE ice cream… but I don’t think I would ever love a combination of the two, but I would try it.
Yea, it’s weird and it sounds super gross, but Van Leeuwen has created a pizza ice cream that will soon be sold in Walmart stores
The new pizza ice cream will be sold in a pint-sized container and for a limited time only.
Van Leeuwen is an ice cream company based in Brooklyn and it’s the same company that released the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese ice cream last year.
I didn’t try the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese ice cream because I’m not a fan of boxed mac & cheese, ew.
The company announced the new pizza ice cream on its Twitter:
COMING SOON: PIZZA. Yup. You heard that right. You’ve had pizza. You’ve had ice cream. It’s only natural to have some Pizza ice cream.

I love cream cheese and I love mozzarella… but it’s hard to think of that as an ice cream base.
It also has swirls of tomato jam and basil crust cookies… hmmm…
The limited-edition pizza ice cream will only be available for 10 weeks starting Monday, March 14th, I’m going to try to get my hands on one to try just so I can say I did.
