Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches Are Back and I Am So Excited
Eveyone around the U.S. is cheering. Popeyes has brought their Chicken Sandwich back!
And yes, restaurants are fully stocked!!
Were you one of the lucky one’s who got to try the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich the first time around? I was not. I was sad.
This sandwich caused near riots when it originally came out this summer, but sold out super-quickly. It was such a big deal, one man even pulled a gun out on employees when he was told the sandwiches were sold out.
Were they THAT good? Good grief!
Popeyes was NOT prepared for how popular these sandwiches were going to be, and we ALL know they SOLD OUT of the chicken.
Well, the sandwiches are BACK, and they aren’t* going to go away any time soon.
According to the Popeyes website, the sandwich is “a tender all-white meat chicken breast fillet, marinated in an authentic blend of Louisiana seasonings, then hand battered and breaded in (their) all new buttermilk coating. Served with crisp barrel cured pickles and Classic or Spicy Mayonnaise, served on a warm and toasted buttery brioche bun.”
Okay. I’ll admit it, this sandwich sounds amazing! I am usually a die hard Chick-fil-A fan, but I have to give this Popeyes sandwich a try.
Maybe I’ll wait until Sunday to drop by my local Popeyes.
