Macaroni and cheese is a pretty staple food. It’s probably safe to say everyone has tried it. It’s a good food for kids, it’s an amazing comfort food (and hangover food!) So why try to fix something that’s not broken?
Kraft thinks they have a good reason.
And then there’s pumpkin spice. This time of year it’s literally EVERYWHERE. Pumpkin Spice Lattes, pumpkin scented candles, pumpkin everything everywhere.
Apart, these are two amazing food items. Together? I have to say, I’m a bit wary. But Kraft thinks its a great idea!
Kraft decided to launch this new idea in Canada by bringing the traditional macaroni and cheese and adding fall spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger to the mix!
“After seeing the huge response Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese received north of the border, and even hearing some heated debates about it down here, we had to bring it to the U.S. for Americans to try,” said Martina Davis, Brand Manager for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, “Who knows? Maybe it could become a new North American fall favorite.”
These have not launched in stores yet, so don’t start searching yet. When they launched in Canada, within 48 hours, over 30,000 Canadians were put on a wait list for it!
But if this has peaked your interest, you can enter for a chance to get your hands on a box of limited-edition Kraft Pumpkin Spice Macaroni & Cheese using #PumpkinSpiceKMC #Sweepstakes and tagging @KraftMacNCheese on Twitter.
You could be one of 1,000 to win limited edition Pumpkin Spice Kraft Mac and Cheese products. (That is, until they actually hit the shelves!)
So the real question is, how do you feel about this? Are you wanting to get your hands on some? Totally grossed out by the idea of it? Intrigued, but not quite enough to try to win one?
I am definitely the third option. I’m not entirely grossed out by the idea of it, but I’m also not going to jump through hoops to get my hands on some.
