Pompompurin has a gaming headset now, and Razer remembered the little brown beret. The yellow ears hang down from the headband, with brown ear cushions finishing the whole very-good-dog situation.
The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT Pompompurin Edition is listed at $139.99 on Razer’s U.S. store, with an Add to Cart option when checked October 6.
The ears are the point
This is a wireless Bluetooth headset with Pompompurin’s floppy ears and beret built into the design. Razer’s listing specifies Bluetooth 5.2 with Gaming Mode and 40 mm TriForce drivers.
The character details are doing the selling here. A brown hat perched on top of your headphones is a fairly specific way to announce your priorities during a video call.
Razer announced an October 2 launch for the headset through Razer.com and RazerStore in select countries. Its Pompompurin collection also includes a keyboard, mouse and mouse mat, if one yellow accessory was never going to be enough.
Kuromi gets earbuds next
In the same September 29 announcement, Razer set October 13 as the release date for its Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed Kuromi Edition earbuds in select countries.
Those have a lilac-and-black case shaped around Kuromi’s silhouette and her skull emblem on the earbud stems. That is a separate upcoming release, so check the exact edition before ordering.
For the Pompompurin headset, start with Razer’s current U.S. listing and check the specifications against the device you plan to use. The $139.99 price is for the character edition; other colors on the same page have different prices.
