There are two very different ways to spend $26 in r.e.m. beauty’s holiday collection: a set of three mini glossy balms, or a lip mask with a tiny pointe-shoe charm attached.
The little shoe is doing a lot of work here. But the more useful question, especially if you’re buying a gift, is whether your person wants a few shades to play with or one lip mask to keep in their bag.

The $26 mini set gives you three shades
The Gloss Barre Mini Glossy Balm Set contains three mini balms. These are minis, so don’t mistake the three tubes for three full-size products.

The brand says it can be used during the day or before bed. Choose this one if the gift you have in mind is a lip mask with an extra-cute accessory. Choose the mini set if trying three colors is the bigger draw.
They cost the same, but they’re different formulas and formats. More tubes doesn’t automatically make one the better gift.
