It was the Millennials who first introduced the world to the fashion craze that became the skinny jean.

I must admit, the skinny jean was a bit intimidating to my fluffy figure. Such tight confines on my butt and thighs was never a welcome thing.

Well, much to the chagrin of Millennials everywhere, Gen Z has come along and nixed the fashion trend that has been hanging on for years.

News Alert: It is no longer “cool” to wear the skinny jean. *Gasp*

This, according to Gen Z, who is opting for a more baggy style of jean.

I know, this is blasphemy to Millennials everywhere.

But, if you wear skinny jeans, you will be viewed as lame (or whatever the current slang may be), and you don’t want that!!

Well, leave it to TikTok, of course! Millenials are fighting back about their skinny jeans.

So, where do you stand on the skinny jean versus baggy jean debate?

I’m still stuck over here wearing my boot cut jeans, and calling it a day!!

  1. Sorry, but I am a working professional so bell bottoms or baggy jeans are out. I’m no longer a kid that can get away with wearing baggy fashion. Team skinny or well fitting jeans.

    1. @David,
You obviously haven’t seen the dressier baggies. They are sharp and much more professional looking. Skinny jeans are now lame.
