SKITTLES is making a candy for people who want their gummies to come with a little crunch.
SKITTLES Gummy Crystals pair a soft gummy center with crunchy, tangy candy crystals, according to Mars’ September 29 announcement. Two flavor mixes are coming, and the first announced chance to buy them is November 2 on TikTok Shop.
That date matters if you saw the new bags and immediately added them to your Halloween candy plan. The early-access sale starts after Halloween.
There are two flavor mixes
The Original bag has Strawberry, Lemon, Grape, Orange and Green Apple. Tropical Splash swaps those for Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade, Mango Melon, Pineapple and Watermelon.
Original is the straightforward choice if those familiar fruit flavors are the point. Tropical Splash is the more interesting list if you want something different, especially with Pink Lemonade and Mango Melon in the same bag.
The key detail is the texture combination. These are gummies with a crunchy crystal coating; they are not described as another bag of the regular chewy SKITTLES.
When can you actually buy them?
Mars lays out three stages for the release:
- November 2, 2026: Early access on TikTok Shop as part of a special bundle, while supplies last.
- Later in 2026: A rollout to select retailers.
- 2027: A national expansion.
The announcement does not identify the retail stores or give a price for the bundle. It also does not promise that every store will have both varieties when the retail rollout begins.
For now, that means a specific date for people who want the early bundle and a longer wait for anyone who would rather toss a bag into a regular grocery order. No need to make a special candy-aisle trip for a release that has not happened yet.
Pink Lemonade with a crunchy coating sounds like a very reasonable place to start.
