A toaster that looks like a little yellow TV is already doing quite a bit. This one adds a glowing frame and Snoopy’s face on your breakfast.
Uncanny Brands’ Peanuts Retro Light Up TV Toaster costs $59.99 on the brand’s website. The front has the Peanuts gang, chunky yellow knobs and the shape of an old television. It is an extremely specific way to decorate a kitchen counter.
The frame lights up while the bread toasts. And according to Uncanny Brands, the toaster puts Snoopy’s face on each slice. Buttering the beagle is a decision you can make when you get there.
It has the usual toaster controls, too
This is a two-slice model with wide slots for bread, bagels and muffins. There’s adjustable browning, plus reheat, defrost and quick-stop functions, so the cartoon exterior comes with familiar toaster settings.
A removable crumb tray handles the cleanup. Uncanny Brands lists the appliance for 120-volt electrical systems and says it is officially licensed by Peanuts.
