Short answer: Yes — SONIC’s $7 Big Deal Meal is still on the current menu as of September 23, 2026. It includes a SONIC Cheeseburger, a medium drink, medium tots or fries, and a choice of sundae. SONIC still labels it a limited-time item, but the current product page does not list a specific end date.
SONIC just added dessert to one of its biggest value meals, and somehow the price is still the same as the number everyone will be talking about during football season.
The refreshed $7 Big Deal Meal now ends with a vanilla sundae, turning it into a full burger-and-dessert situation for seven bucks before tax.
What comes in SONIC’s $7 Big Deal Meal?
The meal includes all four of these items:
- A SONIC Cheeseburger
- A medium soft drink or iced tea
- A choice of medium tots or fries
- A choice of sundae
The sundae replaces the small Premium Chicken Bites that were included when the meal first arrived this summer.
How long is the $7 Big Deal Meal available?
SONIC still lists the $7 Big Deal Meal on its current product page and under its Limited Time and Value menus as of September 23, 2026.
There is no published end date on the current SONIC product page. That means the useful answer is “still available now,” not a guessed expiration date. Because it is labeled limited time, availability can change, and individual locations may vary.
The advertised price is $7 before tax. You can check the menu at your nearest restaurant on SONIC’s official website or in the SONIC App.
Why are Baker Mayfield and Bijan Robinson involved?
The meal is part of a new football-season campaign called “My Greatest 7.” Baker Mayfield and Bijan Robinson appear with friends and family in ads that sound as if they are talking about memorable football moments before revealing that their favorite seven is actually the $7 meal.
You can watch the campaign spot on SONIC’s YouTube channel.
Is the SONIC $7 meal a nationwide deal?
Yes, SONIC says the offer is available at participating locations nationwide. Participation can vary, so checking the app or your local drive-in before making a special trip is the safest move.
