Disclosure: This aura session was offered to me as a media experience. Nobody reviewed or approved this story before publication.

I had a Soul Aura reading with Helen Ye Plehn, creator of The Aura Color Wheel, and apparently I am Lime.

Not green. Not yellow. Lime.

And the personalized report Helen sent me afterward was 26 pages long, so this was considerably more involved than someone looking at me and saying, “Yep. Lime vibes.”

What is a Soul Aura Color reading?

The Aura Color Wheel is Helen’s spiritual self-discovery framework. In her system, a Soul Aura Color is meant to describe a combination of natural gifts, a deeper area of healing, and lessons a person may be working through.

It is important to say that this is a spiritual framework, not a scientific personality test or medical assessment. I treated it the same way I treat tarot, symbolism, and other spiritual tools: as something interesting to explore and reflect on.

And I genuinely loved the experience.

So what does a Lime Soul Aura mean?

In Helen’s framework, Lime combines Yellow and Blue energy. She connects Yellow with things like personal power, action, confidence, and leadership, while Blue centers communication, ideas, expression, and influence.

Together, my report labels that combination the “Entrepreneur” archetype.

The overall theme was basically: you can see possibilities, communicate the vision, and get things moving — but the vision needs a real place to land.

That grounding piece shows up as Red in my report, which Helen frames around safety, belonging, home, roots, the body, and the physical structures that support a life.

The weirdly specific part of my Lime reading

My report did not tell me I needed more ideas.

Quite the opposite.

It kept coming back to the idea that imagination and possibility are already there; the work is giving the ideas roots, choosing what deserves energy, and building enough structure for a vision to become real.

It also gave me three additional “lesson” areas: Orange for emotional freedom and creativity, Green for compassion, and Violet for intuition.

So the Lime version of spiritual homework, apparently, is not “dream bigger.” It is closer to: create, ground it, be nicer to yourself, and make sure the exciting idea is actually the right idea.

What was in the personalized report?

The report covered work, money, relationships, wellness, soul connections, creativity, intuition, grounding, and a 30-day alignment plan.

There were reflection prompts and practical suggestions alongside the spiritual language. One recurring idea was choosing one important idea and taking a concrete step toward it instead of scattering energy across every possible direction.

Again, I am not treating a color reading as an objective verdict on who I am. But as a reflection tool? There was a lot in it to chew on.

Who is Helen Ye Plehn?

Helen Ye Plehn is the creator of The Aura Color Wheel, founder of Helen Creates Beauty, and author of The Aura Color Wheel from Hay House. She also describes her work as combining aura reading, art, Feng Shui, meditation, and other spiritual practices.

The session itself was warm and easy, and Helen later sent me the full personalized Lime reading as a gift.

Would I do a Soul Aura reading again?

Absolutely. I had a great time with this.

Part of what made it fun was that it gave us a language for talking about personality, creativity, ambition, intuition, and the parts of life that need more attention without pretending a color is fate.
