Starbucks is adding a Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese to its holiday menu. A warm sandwich with melted cheese feels like a pretty solid companion for the season when everyone suddenly wants to hold a hot cup with both hands.
The new sandwich arrives with the Starbucks holiday menu on November 5, 2026. Starbucks announced it in the October 5 preview alongside the new drinks and holiday treats.
There are two holiday sandwiches to watch
The Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese is the new addition. The Turkey & Stuffing Sandwich is also part of the holiday lineup, this time with a new recipe.
Starbucks’ official preview photo shows the grilled cheese cut open with a layer of filling between toasted bread and melted cheese. The announcement doesn’t list the full ingredients, price or nutrition yet, so this is a first look rather than a taste test.
What else is coming November 5?
The new Bearista Cake Pop joins returning Cranberry Bliss Bars, Snowman Cookies and Sugar Plum Cheese Danishes. On the drink side, Starbucks is introducing Tiramisu Velvet drinks and the Apple Pomegranate Refresher.
