Some Taco Bell menus are getting a little weird in the best possible way. If you’ve seen a Daredevil burrito or something called a Crunchwrap Dipper and wondered why it’s missing from your app, you’re not imagining it: these items show up on specific restaurants’ menus, and what you can order depends on the store you select.
I checked Taco Bell’s own restaurant menus to see which items are actually listed right now. Here’s what I found and how to check yours before making a drive for a burrito that may not be there.
First, select a restaurant
Go to Taco Bell’s menu or open its app and set your restaurant. A product appearing at one location does not mean it is available nationwide. Prices are tied to the selected restaurant and may change.
Want the split dipping cup? Look for the Daredevil burritos
An Elyria, Ohio, menu lists Steak Daredevil Double Dipping Burrito and a slow-roasted chicken option. Taco Bell’s steak product page describes two snack-size burritos with steak, Avocado Ranch and a three-cheese blend, plus a divided cup with Ghost Pepper Sauce and spicy cheese crisps.
One side for sauce and one for crunch. I absolutely understand wanting to know whether your Taco Bell has this before you get in the car.
Houston menus have other options to check
At one Houston restaurant, Taco Bell lists a Chicken Crunchadilla, Crunchwrap Dipper and Crispy Chicken Soft Taco. A different Houston restaurant lists a Mini Fiesta Bowl. That difference is why “available in Houston” is not enough to guarantee your nearest location has any particular item.
And the three-cheese taco?
A participating Tennessee menu lists a Grilled Steak Three Cheese Taco and a chicken version. Check your selected store’s tacos section for its current availability and price.
Are these going nationwide?
Taco Bell has not announced a nationwide rollout for these particular menu finds in the brand’s current food news. For now, treat them as restaurant-specific discoveries. The easiest move is to select your Taco Bell in the app and search the exact item name. If it is not listed, please don’t drive across town on the strength of somebody else’s menu screenshot.
Of the items I could verify, I’m most curious about the split cup. It sounds like Taco Bell made “what if I dipped it in both?” an actual ordering strategy.
