There are two kinds of Halloween costume discussions: the easy ones, and the ones where your child names a very specific Pokemon and expects the entire retail industry to cooperate.
Target has improved the odds. Its 2026 Pokemon costume assortment includes 26 options, up from 10 last year, and Jigglypuff is among the characters the retailer specifically names.
Pikachu is represented in Target’s official Halloween announcement, too. So the yellow ears are still very much in the conversation. There are simply more directions to take the family costume debate.
Twenty-six options does not mean every size is waiting
The announcement describes the overall assortment. It does not guarantee that every costume comes in your child’s size, is stocked at your store, or will arrive before your event.
Start with the character, then check the individual listing’s size chart and what is included. A photo can show an entire outfit while a particular listing sells only part of it. Pickup availability and delivery dates deserve a look before anybody promises Jigglypuff.
Target also says half of its overall costume and accessory assortment is under $25. That is not a promise that these Pokemon costumes cost under $25; the individual product price is the one that matters.
