Teens are the new environmentalists and their target: The Dairy Industry.

Why? They are protesting wasteful dairy production emissions, and trying to raise awareness about the impact these emissions are having on the environment.

These teens — in the U.K. as of right now — are going into grocery stores having “milk pours.”

They are wasting gallons of milk all over the floors, sales counters, and just about any surface on which they can pour the milk.

It is important to note that these teens aren’t wasting the soy, oat, or any other plant-based milk. They specifically have their sights aimed at the cow-produced milk.

The dairy industry is incredibly environmentally destructive. The world’s top 5 meat and dairy corporations are now responsible for more GHG emissions than Exxon, Shell or BP. We NEED a #PlantBasedFuture now.

Animal Rebellion on Twitter

The animal rights group, Animal Rebellion, is the culprit behind these “milk pours.”

According to Animal Rebellion, these “milk pours” happened Saturday at 8 different U.K. locations — London, Edinburgh, and Manchester to name a few.

Um — I’m just going to say — you destroy gallons of milk, so more milk has to be produced and bottled to replace the milk you wasted. Good job.

The pictures and videos of teens destroying gallons of cow milk popped up on different social media sites, and commenters had a few things to say.

So, what do YOU think about this mess? Is all this spilled milk causing you to think about dairy production emissions? Or do you think it’s just a waste?
