An NYU Professor has announced a key component that should be included in your face mask when you’re creating it.

And a paper towel is what does the trick, specifically two to four sheets depending on the thickness of your roll!

When creating your face mask, make sure to include the sheets of paper towels inside the structure of your face mask. 

To test if your material is thick enough, use the light test, by holding your fabric up towards the light and if the light shines through, your material is not thick enough, according to Inside Edition. 

The NYU Professor also mentioned that you can blow into your material to test the thickness as well. Once again, if you can blow through you material, it is too thin.
