Toys R Us Just Launched A New Website and Partnered with Target

I AM SO EXCITED.

I love Target and it’s my go-to place for just about anything but I am a Toys R Us kid at heart so when I heard that Toys R Us Is Collaborating with Target for The Holidays, nostalgia kicked in and I couldn’t be more excited!

In a recent press release, the news broke that Target is partnering with Tru Kids Brands™ (which are the new owners of the Toys R Us Brand) to open a new online website just in time for the holidays.

When guests want the latest and greatest toys, they know Target is the place to go. For well over a year, we’ve been ramping up our toy assortment (check out 10,000 new and exclusive items!) all while building out our digital capabilities and fulfillment services. So as Toys“R”Us planned the relaunch of their shopping experience, they enlisted our help.

So, what can you expect?

Well, for starters, ToysRUs.com is back up and running and currently has videos and articles on the latest toy trends and brands. It has in-depth product reviews, hot toy lists to help shoppers pick out the perfect toys and gifts for kids of all ages.

If you find something you love and want to buy, you can click on it and you’ll be redirected to that item to purchase on Target.com.

All the purchases will be made through Target.com which means you’ll still get the same Target benefits such as savings with the Target Circle loyalty program, and get 5% off every purchase with a Target RedCard. Ahhhh and returns are easy too – you can return any item in-store at Target!

In addition to shopping online, Toys“R”Us will open experiential retail stores in Houston, Texas, and Paramus, New Jersey—specially designed to help families make memories as they discover the hottest new toys in person.

You can try toys in person, and if you see something you’d like to buy that isn’t available onsite, a sales associate will help you complete a sales transaction, and Target.com will fulfill the order.

This is the first step forward in having Toys R Us back in our lives and I am so excited about it. I am sure my kids will be too!
