Trader Joe’s has a $2.99 shortcut for the tea-latte crowd, and the tiny bottle deserves a little explanation before you pour it straight into a mug.

Its London Fog Tea Drink Concentrate is meant to be mixed with milk. One part concentrate, two parts milk or a nondairy drink. That ratio turns the 16-ounce bottle into four 12-ounce drinks, according to the serving information on Trader Joe’s product page.

For one drink, that means 4 ounces of concentrate plus 8 ounces of milk. The bottle works out to about 75 cents of concentrate per serving, before milk and any tax. It is not a 75-cent finished latte, but it is useful grocery math.

Trader Joe’s describes a blend of Assam and bergamot black teas with vanilla flavor. The company says you can make it hot or iced, and that it is a year-round item. So this one doesn’t need the seasonal-panic treatment just because it showed up among the fall finds.

One detail worth checking before it goes in your cart: it is already sweetened. The listed 4-ounce concentrate serving contains 23 grams of added sugar. Whatever milk you choose changes the finished drink’s nutrition, too.

The official listing showed $2.99 for 16 fluid ounces when checked October 4, 2026. Check your neighborhood store for its current price and availability. And when you get home, leave room in the mug for the milk.
