Winnie the Pooh is wearing a frog hoodie, and apparently that is where all sensible shopping decisions end.
The Happy Haul Winnie the Pooh Woodland Hunnys are surprise plushies tucked inside little honey-pot capsules. Target lists them for $9.99 each, and every pot contains one randomly selected Pooh in an animal outfit.
A bear dressed as another animal. Completely unnecessary. Extremely convincing.
There are eight little outfits to find
The collection includes Pooh dressed as a deer, rabbit, frog, duck, butterfly, fox, sloth or hedgehog. The rabbit version even has a tiny carrot on his sweater, because apparently bunny ears alone were not going to finish us off.
Target describes the plushies as approximately 5.5 inches tall and recommends them for ages 8 and up.
The honey pot is a surprise, so pick your expectations carefully
The important shopping detail: $9.99 buys one plush, not the whole lineup. You do not choose an outfit from this listing. If you are already emotionally attached to frog Pooh, the mystery format is something to consider before ordering.
That makes this a cute little gift for someone who would be happy with any of the versions. For someone who wants one exact character, an individually identified plush is the more predictable choice. Buying eight mystery pots is not a promise of eight different outfits.
Pooh just turned 100
Disney included Woodland Hunnys in its October 14 anniversary announcement, marking 100 years since the original Winnie-the-Pooh book arrived.

Pooh has had a century to perfect being adorable, and now he has added a frog hood. Honestly, an unfair advantage.
