A ‘Mighty Ducks’ Reboot Is Happening with Emilio Estevez and I Am So Excited!!
According to TheIlluminerdi.com, Emilio Estevez will be stepping back into his role of Gordon Bombay in a series reboot of the ’90s film series.
The series version of The Mighty Ducks will stream on Disney+ and is currently booked for ten episodes!
The plot of the series, per SlashFilm.com, revolves around a 13-year-old boy who’s kicked off the Mighty Ducks hockey team, and he and his mother decide to start a new team and recruit a team and a coach.
There is no word on when this begin streaming on Disney+ but rumors are, they will start production in March.
Ahhhh! I am so excited. I am going to rent the Mighty Ducks movie and make my kids watch it so we can watch the new series together.
