Meghan’s As ever has turned the Christmas countdown into a $148 chocolate box. The new Advent calendar is a collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés, and preorders are open now.
Inside are 24 handcrafted chocolates, with flavors inspired by the brand’s fruit spreads and a keepsake design based on Meghan’s Montecito home and garden. The countdown numbers on the chocolates use her handwriting, hand-painted in edible gold luster. Even the numbers got dressed up.
What’s inside the As ever Advent calendar?
According to the official product listing, the assortment draws on strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade. It also includes a chocolate finished with As ever’s Flower Sprinkles and a Compartés dark-chocolate ganache truffle.
This is a chocolate calendar, so the spread-inspired flavors don’t mean there are little jars of jam behind the doors. The listed serving count is 24 pieces. It also isn’t a promise of 24 different flavors.
At $148, that works out to about $6.17 per chocolate before tax. The illustrated keepsake box is part of the appeal here, because that is firmly special-gift territory for a daily December treat.

As ever says preorder customers should receive the calendar in early November. That leaves time before the December countdown, but it is an estimated arrival window rather than an item shipping immediately.
