I have seen the Drunk Gummy Bears recipes floating around social media for awhile, but I’ve never actually tried to make them.

That is, until now. Oh. My. Word.

You have to make these!! They are so simple, but completely next level adult fun!

You’ve had jello shots? These are like jello shots, but on a whole different plain of existence.

So, the basic recipe is to get a crap-ton of gummy bears and throw them into a bowl.

Then, you pick your poison. I think they typically call for vodka, but there’s nothing typical about me.

Pour a whole container of booze over your little gummy bears, and then wait.

They will grow in size as they fill up with your chosen spirit.

Then you can gobble them up or use them to decorate an already awesome cocktail.

Okay, here’s where things get interesting.

Why stop at gummy bears?

There is a whole plethora of gummy candy out there just waiting to get drunk.

Take gummy cherries for example. They are bright. They are yummy. They make the perfect conduit for imbibing on your favorite booze!

You haven’t lived until you have had a rum-soaked gummy cherry! Or make it with cherry-flavored rum — even better!!

I’m pretty sure this is what Haribo (not sponsored) intended for them when they created the red and green gummy fruit.

Don’t like rum? Dude. Grab yourself some vodka or some good ol’ moonshine, and get to creating!

THEN, grab yourself some gummy coke bottles, and some Crown Royal or Jack Daniels.
