YES! Way to start the Oscars on a perfect note. What a great win for a great performance!

Brad Pitt started the show off with a BANG, winning Best Actor In A Supporting Roll for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, at the 92 Annual Academy Awards.

He has been a favorite of mine for YEARS — You can’t deny the man is pretty to look at — and I’m glad he was recognized this year for top honors in acting.

But what really moved me was his acceptance speech… He thanked so many people saying:

“This is incredible, really incredible. Thank you to the Academy for this honor of honors,”

He then rants on a little bit but then ends it beautifully saying:

“Listen, I’m a bit gobsmacked. I’m not one to look back, but this has made me do so. I think of my folks taking me to the drive-in to see Butch and Sundance, and loading up my car and moving out here. Geena and Ridley giving me my first shot. All the wonderful people I’ve met along the way to stand her now. Once upon a time in Hollywood…ain’t that the truth. This is for my kids who color everything I do. I adore you. Thank you.”

Awwwww he dedicated his Oscar to his KIDS! I just adore him.

Congratulations to Brad Pitt on the win. You can check out his entire acceptance speech below.
