Today an L.A. judge granted Britney’s petition to remove her father as conservator of her estate, active immediately!

The judge deemed that the arrangement was no longer in Britney’s best interest and I am so happy for her!
The conservatorship started in 2008 after Britney had been hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation, Jamie was in charge of both Britney’s personal life as well as her estate.
In 2019 the personal side of Britney’s conservatorship was given to Jodi Montgomery, but Jamie Spears still had control of Britney’s estate.
L.A. County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny heard the case over Britney’s 13-year long conservatorship and made this life-changing decision today.
Britney was able to give a 30-minute long testimony and Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart says he is investigating abuses of power that have allegedly been made by Jamie.
What a great day for Britney, I can not even imagine living the way she has the last 13 years.
Now she can have more control over her life and career and can breathe freely!
