Casa Bonita’s Halloween shop has a skull-shaped mug with flower eyes and a sweater that gives its skeleton a pink bow tie.
The Vintage Sugar Skull Mug is $24.95, and the Knit Calabacita Sweater is $69.95. Both are part of the restaurant’s Casa BOOnita merchandise, available through its online shop. Locals also have a way to shop at Casa Bonita without a dinner reservation.
The $24.95 skull mug has room for 20 ounces
The Vintage Sugar Skull Mug is a ceramic, skull-shaped mug with an orange interior and handle, marigold-colored flower eyes, and pink and purple details. Casa Bonita describes the design as Día de Los Muertos-inspired.
It holds 20 ounces and is top-rack dishwasher safe, according to the product listing. The brand highlighted it as a newly added item in its October 15 email.
Día de Muertos has its own traditions and meaning beyond seasonal merchandise. Our Día de Muertos guide covers the dates, ofrendas and related finds.
The $69.95 sweater is doing the most
The Knit Calabacita Sweater pairs a dressed-up skeleton with orange, purple and yellow blocks, checkerboard sleeves, bats and a spider. The Casa BOOnita lettering is knitted right into the design.
The fabric is 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. The listing includes sizes XS through 3XL, but check the size selector for current availability before ordering.
Casa Bonita says the sweater is available for a limited time and will not be restocked.
What shipping adds, and what October 21 actually means
The shop’s shipping FAQ lists an $8.95 flat rate for standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states. That puts one $24.95 mug at $33.90 before tax, using the published product and shipping prices.
Most orders leave the warehouse within two business days, and standard delivery generally takes another five to seven business days after shipment. The FAQ warns that holiday delivery times increase. Alaska and Hawaii have different shipping rates.
In its October 15 email, Casa Bonita recommended ordering by Wednesday, October 21 for Halloween. Treat that as the brand’s ordering recommendation, not a guaranteed arrival date. If Halloween delivery matters, check the shipping options and timing for your address before paying.
You can shop locally without a dinner reservation
Casa Bonita’s main El Mercado store requires a reservation to visit. Its FAQ says the Exit Plaza shop is open to shoppers without one during business hours; check in with security when you arrive.
The online store does not offer local pickup. Shopping at the Exit Plaza is a separate option, and the online listings do not establish what is on that shop’s shelves.
