There are two types of people in this world: Those who fill their car with gas every time they get in it, and those who ride that gas light just as close to completely empty as they can.

I am in the latter group.

I have often prayed all the way to the gas station, as the car gets so low on gas it doesn’t even warn me how many miles to empty I have to go anymore.

Wouldn’t it be nice if I had an actual way to gauge how many miles I can drive when that gas light starts flashing?

Good thing is, each car keeps at least 2 gallons of gas once that light comes on, so you SHOULD have enough oomph to get you to that station — if you head straight there.
