The Colorado Springs Sunday Market takes over Acacia Park every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through October 25, and I love it there.
It is technically a farmers market, but it does not feel like an errand. It feels like wandering into the fun part of downtown and discovering that everyone brought their cutest stuff with them.
Last time, I ended up holding a pink-and-blue cotton candy cloud that was roughly the size of my upper body.
So. That is the energy we are dealing with here.
The vendors are the entire point
There is such a good mix of vendors. You can shop local produce, baked goods, small-batch foods, handmade things, art, and all the little treasures that make you stop walking because wait. What is that?
There were handmade ghost wall hangings holding tiny disco balls. There was a mysterious little masked creature sitting in a basket. There was even a tiny pink claw machine filled with handmade prizes.

Obviously I needed to investigate everything.
The market accidentally becomes a downtown shopping day
This might be my favorite part: some of the people behind the booths also have shops downtown.
So you meet them at the market, fall in love with something at their booth, and suddenly you know about another cute Colorado Springs business you can visit after market season ends.
It turns one trip to the park into an entire downtown shopping day without requiring an itinerary or one of those aggressively organized spreadsheets that makes a fun afternoon feel like a corporate retreat.
You just wander. The market does the introducing for you.
There are seven Sundays left. That is not enough.
The official 2026 schedule runs every Sunday through October 25. That leaves September 13, 20, and 27, followed by October 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Seven Sundays sounds like plenty right up until Colorado does that thing where September disappears in approximately twelve minutes.
The market is free and family-friendly. The exact vendor mix can change, which honestly makes repeat trips more fun. There is always another booth to investigate.
