Ok, who doesn’t love the movie Hocus Pocus? If you don’t, I’m not sure we can be friends. It is basically one of the best movies ever made.

Did you know there is going to be a sequel to Hocus Pocus? I’m so excited! Here is what we know!

The original Hocus Pocus was released in 1993! It is way overdue for a sequel. Disney+ is working on it along with Adam Shankman.

He’s the guy that directed The Wedding Planner, Hairspray, and A Walk to Remember.

Sadly, there is no information on if any of the original cast members will be involved. Disney has said that they are hopeful that they will. I really hope so!

Writer Jen D’Angelo says she is trying to find a way to bring back the original Sanderson sisters in some capacity.

No release date has been announced as of yet for the project.

Right now Adam Shankman is in pre-production on the Enchanted sequel for Disenchanted for Disney. So I’m going to assume it will be a bit before we see any of this happen.
